Scott #1134 4¢ United States Postage Stamp Commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the American Petroleum Industry.
All plate blocks are in MNH (Mint Never Hinged) condition. Four different plates were used when printing the stamps. The corresponding plate numbers are 26416, 26417, 26419, and 26431. If the plate number & position are not important when ordering, you can select 'Surprise me!'. Each separate plate block will come in a glassine envelope for protection.
- Subject - The 4-cent postage stamp, issued on August 27, 1959, commemorates the centennial of the American Petroleum Industry. It showcases a brown engraving of an oil derrick, paying tribute to the Drake Well, the first successful oil well drilled in Titusville, Pennsylvania, in 1859.
