Scott #1139 4¢ United States Postage Stamp Honors the Famous Quote by George Washington, "Observe Good Faith and Justice Toward All Nations".

All plate blocks are in MNH (Mint Never Hinged) condition. Five different plates were used when printing the stamps. The corresponding plate numbers are 26488, 26489, 26494, 26495, and 26508. If the plate number & position are not important when ordering, you can select 'Surprise me!'. Each separate plate block will come in a glassine envelope for protection.

• Subject - The 1960 4-cent George Washington American Credo stamp marked the debut of a series celebrating foundational American quotations. Issued on George Washington's birthday in Mount Vernon, VA, it bears the inscription "Observe good faith & justice towards all nations." The design is complemented by symbolic imagery, including scales of justice and a quill pen.
