Scott #1154 4¢ United States Postage Stamp Honors the 100th Anniversary of the Pony Express.
All plate blocks are in MNH (Mint Never Hinged) condition. Four different plates were used when printing the stamps. The corresponding plate numbers are 26643, 26644, 26645, and 26646. If the plate number & position are not important when ordering, you can select 'Surprise me!'. Each separate plate block will come in a glassine envelope for protection.
- Subject - Scott #1154 is a 4-cent U.S. postage stamp issued in 1960 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Pony Express. Featuring a sepia-toned image of a rider on horseback, the stamp honors this brief but legendary mail service, which operated for 18 months before being replaced by the transcontinental telegraph in October 1861.
