Scott #1155 4¢ United States Postage Stamp Symbolizes the integration of Handicapped Individuals into the Workforce.

All plate blocks are in MNH (Mint Never Hinged) condition. Four different plates were used when printing the stamps. The corresponding plate numbers are 26679, 26680, 26681, and 26682. If the plate number & position are not important when ordering, you can select 'Surprise me!'. Each separate plate block will come in a glassine envelope for protection.

  • SubjectIssued on August 28, 1960, U.S. Scott #1155 is a 4-cent commemorative stamp designed to promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The blue stamp shows a man in a wheelchair working a drill press and was released in conjunction with the Eighth World Congress of the International Society for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities. Commonly referred to as the “Employ the Handicapped” stamp, it remains a meaningful symbol of inclusion and workforce participation.
