Key Characteristics & Details

Issue Date: October 29, 1999, as shown on the prominent circular first-day postmark stamp ("ПРВИ ДАН - БАЊА ЛУКА 29.10.1999").

Theme: "УМЈЕТНОСТ - ИКОНЕ" (Art - Icons), highlighting traditional Orthodox Christian religious icon paintings.

Stamps: The cover features two postage stamps, each with a denomination of 0.50. They depict classical Christian iconographies of the Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child (Theotokos).

Left Cachet Illustration: A beautifully detailed, ornate gold-framed icon painting depicting Christ enthroned, flanked by saints or angels, labeled vertically on the side as "Деизис са представом ктитора" (Deesis with a representation of the donor/founder).
